Is it possible for a group of 16 year olds to move to another country?

If a group of say, four 16 year olds somehow got access to an illegal boat that could smuggle them into a remote country like Siberia or Madagascar, how viable would it be for them to survive just by themselves? Perhaps if the option of obtaining legal visas and flight payment was available, would it be possible for them to make a new life, anonymously, and support themselves?
